Outpatient mental health services we offer

Our mental health specialists at our Mission Oak Campus offer outpatient mental and behavioral health services for the community.

Behavioral health support

Our behavioral health specialists provide various outpatient mental health support options so you have access to the level of care you need. We offer a wide range of specialized programs to help with mood, anxiety and substance abuse disorders. Our services focus on reducing symptoms and teaching coping skills to help you readapt to your daily life.

We offer:

  • Adult behavioral health partial hospitalization program
  • Adult chemical dependency intensive outpatient program
  • Adult intensive outpatient program
  • Mental health support for women who have experienced pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum
  • Senior outpatient group therapy

Mental health programs

All of our outpatient programs share the same goals: to create a personalized treatment plan and facilitate appropriate discharge planning. By accomplishing these goals, we can help you return to a healthier long-term lifestyle.

Treatment plans will vary based on your diagnosis and individual needs. While participating in one of our outpatient programs, you may benefit from:

  • Connection to community support groups
  • Group therapy
  • Psychoeducation
  • Relapse prevention planning
  • Stress reduction technique education
  • Trigger and craving management skill training
  • Weekly family group for you and your family
  • Weekly medication management meetings with a psychiatrist

Adult intensive outpatient program (IOP)

The adult IOP serves those with a primary behavioral health diagnosis, have difficulty performing day-to-day tasks and experience symptoms such as anxiety and depression. It may be the next step after you complete our partial hospitalization program (PHP).

This program offers structured care but meets for shorter periods of time. You may attend our program three to five days a week, depending on your individual needs. We offer care Monday through Friday from 9:00am to noon.

Adult dual diagnosis intensive outpatient program

Our dual diagnosis intensive outpatient program provides continued care for mental health and substance abuse disorders. Our specialists provide dedicated care for co-occurring disorders, helping you with methods of managing triggers and relapse prevention strategies.

Partial hospitalization program (PHP)

Our PHP is a voluntary outpatient intensive therapy program for adults. This program offers structured support for mental health conditions at a less frequent occurrence than our IOP. PHP works to decrease the need for inpatient therapy.

Senior program

Older adults have specific behavioral health care needs that should not be ignored and must be treated by specially trained experts. Our senior program helps adults age 65 and older who need additional support, resources and clinical care while dealing with aging and mental health concerns.

These weekly group therapy sessions focus on stress reduction, cognitive behavioral therapy and coping skills. Additionally, your loved one will meet with a psychiatrist once a month to assess their need for medications.

Group therapy sessions occur Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:00pm to 2:45pm. Your loved one may attend one session per week.

Behavioral health support groups

We recognize the importance of continued care and support following treatment in one of our programs. After participating in one of our outpatient programs, we welcome you to attend our Alumni Aftercare Support Group. The group offers free afternoon and evening meetings for continued support throughout recovery.

Mental health specialists

Our outpatient mental health programs are provided by a multidisciplinary healthcare team that includes:

  • Internists
  • Licensed clinical social workers
  • Licensed mental health therapists
  • Psychiatrists
  • Registered nurses
