About Allon Rafael, MD
Biography
Dr. Rafael is a Bay Area native cardiologist and cardiac arrhythmia specialist, treating patients with heart rhythm disorders. He received his undergraduate degree from U.C.L.A. and his medical degree from the Tel Aviv University in Israel. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. He trained in cardiac electrophysiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston before returning to his home in the Bay Area to practice medicine.
Care Philosophy
Dr. Rafael’s focus is on treatment of abnormal heart rhythms including worrisomely slow and dangerously fast arrhythmias. He is trained in advanced catheter ablation techniques for the management of all arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardias and ventricular tachycardia. He is also trained in implantation of cardiac rhythm devices including the management of heart failure with resynchronization therapy.
