As first-time parents whose daughter was born 13 weeks early, Praveena and Kapil Khathuria discuss how the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) team at Good Samaritan Hospital has helped them through this challenging time. Kapil describes the support they’ve received from the team, “There’s been a great team of doctors and nurses and everyone leading us to understand what’s been going on with her and how to make her better.”

While it has been difficult for them to not have their daughter Aishani at home, Praveena and Kapil have been able to spend extended time with her each day. They look forward to the day when Aishani can come home. “It will be great just to show her our backyard, show her the living room, and having her crawling around and breaking stuff,” Kapil said.
