Adult Inpatient

Good Samaritan Hospital has been providing adult psychiatric inpatient services to the community successfully since 1975. We provide a safe, supportive environment for adult patients with severe or life-threatening psychiatric problems, including major depression, bipolar illness, anxiety disorders, and schizophrenia, among others.

Our goal is to provide quality care to prevent, support and treat mental, emotional and behavioral conditions and to return the patient to his or her home and community as soon as possible.

With an emphasis on a flexible continuum of care, patients are thoroughly evaluated and placed in the least restrictive, most cost-effective, and most clinically appropriate setting. Planning for the next level of care begins as soon as a patient is admitted to the program.
