and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and our certified bariatric nurses have
specialty certifications in this area.

How do I get started?
Step 1: Call your insurance provider and ask if weight loss surgery is a covered benefit
Step 2: Select a surgeon who is part of our program
Step 3: Undergo a psychological evaluation (referral from surgeon)
Step 4: See a dietitian for education and evaluation (referral from surgeon)
Step 5: Attend our Surgical Weight Loss Center's Pre-Surgery Support Groups
Our support groups are available for patients and families who are involved
with our program. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate
to call our Bariatric Coordinators, who are all registered nurses with
bariatric specialty accreditations. They will serve as your personal guides
through the process. Their clinical expertise and personal experience
can help you achieve your personal goals.
