The pulmonary rehabilitation program at Good Samaritan Hospital was the
first of its kind. We have teams of both physical and occupational therapists
working alongside our neurological specialists. Patients learn about proper
breathing techniques, pulmonary relaxation and strengthening exercises,
as well as early recognition of respiratory infection.
The effective 8-week pulmonary program of two, two-hour weekly sessions
improves pulmonary function and builds stamina. We can also create a customized
