Dr. Edward Littlejohn received his bachelor of science degree from California State University, East Bay, in Hayward, California. From there, he obtained his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. After medical school, Dr. Littlejohn underwent his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he trained with world-renowned joint replacement surgeons. Having had such extensive joint replacement experience, he bypassed further fellowship training and started his practice in Los Gatos in 1984. Gradually, he focused his practice primarily on joint replacement, where he has consulted for the industry and done teaching around the world in total knee replacement.
When Dr. Littlejohn isn’t seeing patients at Northern California Orthopedic Specialists for shoulder, hip, knee, or joint care, he’s busy golfing, skiing, wine tasting, dining out, or traveling.
